Somewhere along your way as you more frequently share the Gospel, you’ll wish you knew more about what non-believers believe because that belief may be an impediment to them receiving God’s Good News. For example, perhaps you find yourself talking to an atheist. Do you know what the typical atheist believes? If you don’t it’s likely you won’t have any ammunition to counter the conversation. Or perhaps some Jehovah’s Witnesses come to visit. Do you know what they believe? Now it’s a valid point that your Gospel presentations should appeal to the conscience as opposed to the intellect but having more knowledge can help counter challenging arguments.
