Just like the apostles and the disciples of the early church, we’re looking to reach as many people as we can with the gospel message. Towards that end we will follow their model of continually sharing the Good News. Undoubtedly, they talked with their family, friends, relatives, co-workers, acquaintances strangers, and new believers. Let’s do the same as the Lord leads, and let’s also reach out to our fellow believers who could share the Gospel but are not doing so currently. Perhaps they will change their minds and re-prioritize their life in obedience to Jesus and his Great Commission.
A.W. Pink: “It is true that many are praying for world-wide revival… But it would be more timely, and more scriptural, for prayer to be made to the Lord of the harvest, that we would raise up and thrust forth laborers who would fearlessly and faithfully preach those truths which are calculated to bring about a revival.”
