Why would anyone want to become affiliated with our ministry? And what are the benefits not just to you, but to the people you might touch by being more proactive in sharing the Gospel and working together with us? Here are a dozen reasons!
- Because all believers are called to share the Gospel
- Because many, if not most believers don’t share their faith with non-believers, for a host of reasons. Our ministry can come alongside such believers and offer them perspective, help, support, and so much more.
- Because we have tools for them to use to improve their witnessing
- Because many believers want to step up their witnessing but they don’t know how to get started.
- Because many people have over-inflated fears about witnessing. We can show them how many of these fears can be diminished or done away with entirely.
- Because pastors are so busy tending to their flock’s needs, we need to step up and take OUR responsibility for spreading the Gospel in our local area and beyond. Let’s all bless our pastors by building the Kingdom around our churches and everywhere else besides.
- Because our work will amplify the commands in scripture to go and preach the Gospel to the whole world.
- Because our work will glorify God.
- Because we (believers) are workers in God’s harvest. He has sent us out, so how shall we respond? I believe the proper response is “yes, Lord, send me”!
- Because in an area of 20.3 million people, (New York-Newark-Jersey City, NY-NJ-PA Metropolitan Statistical Area) millions have not yet heard what the Good News is, or perhaps they need to be reminded before Jesus comes. Just adjust the numbers accordingly for your city and state and you’ll get the picture, the picture that means we have more work to do.
- Because duplicating our own evangelism efforts will create more opportunities to share the Gospel in this area than we (the whole organization) would if we didn’t seek to duplicate our efforts.
- Because our members will experience love (and joy) by obeying God’s command (to witness). What did Jesus say? He said, “if you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love”. (John 15:10).
