Have you ever noticed how compatible sports and Christianity can be? Names like Eric Liddell, Tim Tebow, Mariano Rivera, Tom Landry, John Wooden, and so many more come to mind. These are individuals who have publicly spoken about their faith in Jesus Christ. How can that play out when you’re a lowly Little League coach? The answer is in your attitude and your approach. First you can witness with your good attitude, your sense of fair play, how you treat kids, and how you treat parents and boisterous fans. You don’t have to say a word, but you can shine and let the fans see Jesus in you. Later when they see your kindness and trust worthiness, you just might have an opportunity to open your mouth about the Savior. Now that’s a hit worth praising God for!
