It’s liberating to take the pressure off yourself when presenting the Gospel to non-believers. Our job is to proclaim the Good News, not convince them. As far as them actually turning to God, that’s the job of the Holy Spirit. (“No one comes to Me unless the Father who sent me draws him and I will raise them up at the last day.”(Jesus speaking in John 6:44). So while we can be persuasive, it is God who brings them to the knowledge of the truth and it is our job to tell them about Jesus’ sacrifice for their sins and his plan of salvation.
